Nikon D70s
The D70s is an evolution of the award winning D70. It inherits the image quality, high performance and user-friendliness of the D70 and introduces refinements that help photographers capture precious moments the instant they unfold.
Key Features 1. The advanced 6.1 megapixel DX format CCD sensor produces exceptionally detailed, high resolution images with pure, vivid colours, suitable for printing in large formats.
2. Powers up in 0.2 sec. and shoots at a rapid 3 fps continuously up to 144 shots. With shutter speeds of up to 1/8000 sec. and a high-speed flash sync of 1/500 sec.
3. The new, powerful, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery EN-EL3a delivers the required power to shoot up to 2,500 images on a single charge.
4. The new optional Remote Cord MC-DC1 is a convenient option for landscape, long exposure night shots, close-ups, or shots taken with a tripod. Cable-free operation is available with the optional wireless infrared Remote Control ML-L3.
5. An extra large and bright 2.0-inch LCD screen makes it easy to control images and provides an easy-to-understand, colour-coded menu.
6. Allows 25 advanced custom settings for customizing the camera to the photographer's specific needs.
7. The 5-area MulticamCAM900 AF system brings everything into pin-sharp focus and the AF-assist illuminator helps to maintain focus in low-light conditions. Its predictive focus tracking even stays locked on to moving subjects, delivering razor-sharp images of fast moving objects. The 3D Colour Matrix Metering, with 1,005-pixel sensor, automatically ensures consistent, accurate exposure by measuring brightness, colour, contrast, selected focus area and distance values on each shot.
8. The Digital Vari-Program Modes automatically optimize the camera settings to achieve the best photographic results when there is no time to set shutter speed or aperture in the exposure modes. A full manual mode allows the advanced user to stay in complete creative control.
9. The built-in i-TTL speedlight has an increased, 18mm wide flash coverage. It also works with Nikon's Creative Lighting system, serving as a remote commander that controls 1 group of multiple wireless SB-600 or SB-800 Speedlights.
